What we collect
Account information you give us (name, email, general location, optional photo and bio), the content you create (listings, photos, offers, messages, ratings, reports), and basic usage data (listing view counts, sign-in timestamps).
What we use it for
Running the marketplace: showing your listings to buyers, delivering offers and messages, displaying trust signals (ratings, deal counts, verification badges), and keeping the platform safe (reviewing reports, enforcing blocks).
What other users see
Your public profile shows your name, photo, general location, member-since date, completed-deal count, ratings, and active listings. Your email and exact contact details are never shown. Messages are visible only to the two people in the conversation.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information, we don't show third-party ads, and we don't share your data with advertisers. Messages are not shared with anyone except in response to valid legal process or safety investigations.
Deleting your data
Deleting your account (Profile → Delete account) anonymizes your profile immediately: your name, email, photo, location, and bio are removed, your active listings are taken down, and open offers are closed. Ratings and transaction records of past deals remain, attributed to 'Deleted User', so other users' histories stay accurate.
Security & retention
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Sessions are signed and expire after 30 days. We keep data only as long as needed to run the service.
