Meet safely
Every deal on Offer Me ends with two people meeting. Here's how to do it right.
Meet at a safe exchange zone
Most police stations offer monitored 'safe exchange' parking spots with 24/7 cameras — search your city + 'safe exchange zone'. Otherwise pick a busy public place in daylight: a bank lobby, coffee shop, or grocery store entrance.
Check who you're dealing with
Every profile shows ratings from completed deals, deal count, member-since date, and verification badges. As a seller you choose which offer to accept — you never have to deal with an account you don't trust, no matter what they offered.
Keep the conversation in the app
Offer Me messaging never reveals your phone number or email. Be wary of anyone who immediately pushes to move the conversation off the app.
Cash or verified payment, in person
Take cash or use a payment app only after you've met and inspected the item. Never send a deposit to 'hold' an item, never take an overpayment and refund the difference — that's the classic scam.
Bring a friend for big items
For vehicles, equipment, and anything at a home address, bring someone with you and tell a third person where you're going.
Report anything off
Every listing and profile has a report link. Reports go straight to us and repeat offenders are removed.
